VoltSlide is built from the ground up with a strict privacy-first philosophy. We believe that your personal data and vehicle telemetry belong exclusively to you. This Privacy Policy governs the VoltSlide mobile application (the "App") and explains our practices regarding data collection, storage, and processing.

• No Personal Data: You are not required to create an account, register, or provide any personal information (such as your name, email, or phone number) to use the App.
• No Telemetry or Analytics: The App does not include third-party analytics frameworks, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. We do not monitor your feature usage, session lengths, or interaction patterns.
• Vehicle Metrics & Efficiency Data: Any electric vehicle tracking data, charging metrics, efficiency calculations, or configurations you input or log in the App remain strictly local to your environment. The developer has zero access to this information.

• Local Device Storage: All data you input into VoltSlide is stored locally on your iOS device using secure native storage mechanisms.
• iCloud Infrastructure (Backup & Sync): To protect your historical records against device loss and to enable seamless synchronization across your personal Apple devices, VoltSlide utilizes Apple's native iCloud infrastructure (including standard iCloud backups and secure iCloud sync/CloudKit). This storage, backup, and synchronization occur entirely and directly between your device and your personal Apple account. The developer does not host, control, or have access to your iCloud containers, backups, or the application data contained within them.

Because VoltSlide interacts with your device's native operating system, your use of the App is subject to Apple's standard Privacy Policy and terms. If you choose to share diagnostic logs or crash reports via Apple's built-in TestFlight or App Store reporting features, that data is anonymized and handled by Apple according to their developer ecosystem guidelines.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in functionality or App Store requirements. Any modifications will be updated directly within this document. Your continued use of the App following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Please review these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") carefully before using the VoltSlide mobile application.

By downloading, installing, or using the VoltSlide mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately uninstall the App and cease all use of it.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the VoltSlide application on compatible Apple iOS devices that you own or control, strictly in accordance with these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

• Safe Operation: You explicitly agree that VoltSlide is a utility application intended strictly for information tracking and efficiency analysis. You must never interact with the App while actively operating a motor vehicle. Safe operation of your vehicle remains your sole, legal responsibility.
• Interval-Based Logging & External Data Reliance: VoltSlide is designed to minimize data-entry friction by allowing you to input cumulative home-charging metrics at flexible intervals (e.g., monthly, bi-weekly, or at whatever frequency you prefer). To calculate your home charging footprint accurately, this model strictly relies on your independent access to external logs, such as historical utility bills, home smart charger history, or manufacturer vehicle telematics.
• Data Accuracy & Calculations: VoltSlide relies on user-inputted metrics, third-party logs, or native device calculations to estimate vehicle efficiency, battery range, and charging metrics. These features use generalized mathematical models and are provided for informational and convenience purposes only. The developer does not warrant that these calculations are error-free, and they should not be relied upon to plan critical travel or replace your vehicle's built-in dashboard instruments or official manufacturer guidelines.

All intellectual property rights in the VoltSlide application, including but not limited to the underlying source code, user interface designs, logos, branding, visual assets, and text, are owned exclusively by the developer. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App, nor create derivative works based upon it.

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, VEHICLE DAMAGE, RANGE MISCALCULATIONS, STRANDING, PERSONAL INJURY, OR FINANCIAL LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license to use the App at any time, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of updates by updating the text within this document. Your continued usage of VoltSlide after changes are posted means you accept and agree to the legally binding modifications.
